VERSE 18-38 MS 38 Humans have regal egos

CHAPTER 18,
PATH OF LIBERATION AND RENUNCIATION,
VERSE LIB 38

That experience which is born out of the Union of sensual organs, which initially tastes like nectar, but later turn out to be poisonous, such comfort is the 'rajasa' (Raja = king. Rajasa = characteristics of a king. The actions are filled with exceed speed and arrogance, while promoting desires, likes and dislikes. For this state of mind we can create a phrase 'Regal-hyperaction').

BLOGGER'S VIEW
The regal-hyperaction qualities are quite clear. All of us have this hyper-action within us in some degree other, by our very human instinct. There is no need to be shy of admiting it. If we become a slave of hyperaction, we lose control on ourselves and slip down on a path of destruction and misery. There can never be a human, who has a 0% hyperaction or 100% action. The central tendencies apply.
