In spiritual instructions, in the humble view of this blogger ybrao-a-donkey, there is nothing really 'secret' which deserves to be withheld from others. There is a Telugu proverb: "ati rahasyam baTTa bayalu (=Extreme Secret is bound to become Open everywhere)". Besides, Spiritual matters, if at all they have any worth, they need not have any commercial value. They are not commercial product formulae or trade mark patents. If there were to have been present intrinsic worth in spiritual preachings, such worth is to be shared with the Whole World, and the Whole World will benefit. On the other hand, if they are sold or restricted to some cults/sects, the World will lose some Great Concept when the few who know it pass away or perish.

Why should the contents of Gita be taken as great secrets? It is not about any military strategy or strategical formation. It has nothing to do with country's or State's security. It does not contain any pharmaceutical formulae. What for is the secrecy?

It is to be kept a secret from people like you and me who are not qualified enough to grasp its inner meaning in its true spirit.Its like Nuclear Science...it shouldnt fall into the wrong hands.
